As we are a small team and seasonal-focused, our whole cakes menu often change. And that means the current menu features the best-tasting cakes by using local produce at their peak. It just makes sense to make Banoffee Pie in summer when bananas are sweetest and Truffle Cheesecake in winter when fresh truffles are harvested in the south west region.

We may not notice it in the midst of getting hydrated & all sweaty in the current heatwave but summer is ending pretty soon. It has been an amazing season for us utilising the local summer’s bounty (cherries for cherry pie & Black Forest cake, peach for peach custard pie, mangoes for mango shortcake and figs for fig tart). Our Fig Tart has been a firm favourite on our summer menu since market days (that’s 4 years now) and her beauty and flavours never failed to captivate everyone year after year.

We’re gonna miss sprinkling pistachios and rose petals on this beauty in the mornings 💞
